- Now that you have some knowledge about types of credit and know that interest is the cost of borrowing and is calculated by taking
- Principal (amount borrowed) * Interest Rate * Time (the period of time taken to pay the loan off)
- Principal (amount borrowed) * Interest Rate * Time (the period of time taken to pay the loan off)
- put this into practice by choosing the terms that will make the loan shark the most money.

Some tips for completing the quizzes:
- keep the Reading page open when completing the Reading quiz in case you need to refer back to it
- have an Excel sheet (my best choice) or a calculator open when working on the Math quiz
- in questions talking about % increase (for example, a 20% increase in allowance) remember that the initial or base amount represents 100% so if there's a 20 percent increase take the initial amount and multiply by 120% or 1.2 (the base amount of 100% plus the 20% increase)
- I will have Microsoft Teams open and be available for chat throughout the day if you have questions about the assignment--please let me know if you're not sure how to access/use Microsoft Teams and I'll get you up and running

- work to complete the Budgeting assignments to wrap this unit up
- Clarification for #2 on the 9.7 Budgeting Assignment--it's easiest if you use the first link and Grand Forks, Minnesota as the city; the second link is a Canadian resource but it's not as straight forward or as easy to use
- Have a Happy Easter weekend!
